Whats My Lemon?

At the very base level my Lemon is Illustration, but i am pretty sure I am one of those people that Michele talked about when she said "some of you will have to narrow down your subject".

So then if my Lemon isn't specifically illustration, maybe it is a section of it. Advertising illustration is always an area I have wanted to work closer with and is actually part of the reason I decided to come back and do an MA.

Over the summer I read a book in preparation for the course called 'Ways of seeing' by John Berger. In the book John talks about looking at and decoding certain paintings from history with a view to seeing how they work. The final chapter goes on to discuss how they all relate to modern day publicity, or advertising. This is certainly a possible avenue of discovery with a lot of potential.
